Ever since I saw this pair of colors when we were in Cinque Terre for Thanksgiving 2010, I have wanted to use something similar in the Front Room. The red we picked (La Fonda Antique Red) is pretty spot on, eh?
After staring at these samples (and about four others) taped to the wall and studying them in various lights, we chose to go more caramel gold with Hazelnut Coffee (closer to the trim color on the yellow building) to accomplish a warmer feel.
We bought the paint today; tomorrow, post-long run, we begin!
